Demo & Classes for sword geeks

Postby Chris on Mon Nov 19, 2007 5:00 pm

Who's interested in setting up a demo by Academia Duellatoria (Portland's only Historical Swordfighting school)? I'll be starting classes there in December (most likely) which are apparently twice a week, Tuesday/Thursday and damn cheap at only $40 a month.

Right now they've got sword & buckler (Spanish method) Tuesday nights and longsword Thursdays.

Also, PSU's fencing class is only $85 if you don't need the credit. They'll be doing saber in winter term and épée in spring.

That's probably be what would get them to do a demo. Maybe next term scheduled in the hour following our own practice?
